Ramesh Unni

Dr. Unni was born in Maywood, Illinois. He grew up in Crown Point, IN and attended St. Mary’s School and Andrean High School locally before pursuing a degree in economics at Northwestern University. He then attended Indiana University School of Medicine and stayed there for his General Surgical and Urologic training which was completed in 2004. He then returned to Northwest Indiana to practice Urology. Dr. Unni’s areas of interest and expertise include treatment of kidney stones, non-surgical and minimally invasive approaches to female incontinence and prolapse, kidney, and bladder, including minimally invasive and robotic-assisted treatment and male sterilization (vasectomy). In his free time, Dr. Unni enjoys spending time and traveling with his wife Sajil and his three children. He also enjoys playing basketball and reading fiction.
