Ted Vellos
, M.D.
Dr. Vellos was born and raised in Orland Park, Illinois where he graduated from Carl Sandburg High School. He attended Loyola University Chicago for both undergraduate and medical schools obtaining degrees in Chemistry and Economics and earning Honors in research. He began his General Surgery and Urology training soon after at The Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City where he completed his residency in 2019. His areas of interest include treatment and prevention of kidney stones, urologic cancers of the prostate, kidney and bladder using robotic surgery, in-office vasectomy as well as many common urinary issues including prostate enlargement and female incontinence. In his spare time Dr. Vellos enjoys traveling abroad and trying new restaurants with his wife Eleni, as well as spending time with his big Greek family.
