Dr. Perlmutter grew up on Long Island, New York. He majored in biology at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. He received his medical degree from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his residency in Urology at West Virginia University and then completed a Urologic Oncology Fellowship at Roswell Park Cancer Institute in New York. He has a strong interest in treating all Urologic cancers, robotic surgery, reconstructive surgery, stone disease, urinary incontinence, BPH and erectile dysfunction. In his free time, Dr. Perlmutter enjoys spending time with his wife, Jen, and three children. He is a fan of the Chicago Bears, Bulls and Blackhawks as well as college football and basketball.
